The Anchor Hocking "Tahiti Bamboo Honey Gold" is a vintage, pressed-glass tumbler featuring a textured, raised bamboo-style pattern and a warm amber color, characteristic of Mid-Century Modern glassware from the 1960s and 1970s. Condition is excellent with no evidence of wear, chips or cracks in the glass. Measuring approximately 5.75 inches (14.6 cm) high by 3 inches (7.6 cm) across at rim, holding 16 oz.
It was produced by Anchor Hocking, a well-known American glassware manufacturer. The glasses are easily recognizable by their tropical "bamboo" or "bark" texture molded into the glass. The pattern gives them a unique, tactile feel and a distinctive style. The "honey gold" color is a rich, warm amber tone that can appear more yellow or golden depending on the light. The tumblers are made of pressed glass, a common and durable production style used by Anchor Hocking.
