The piece is made of stoneware and features a distinctive salt glaze, a technique popular in 18th-century American pottery, which Eldreth Pottery helped revive and preserve. It showcases a heart motif, with additional blue leaves detail, characteristic of Eldreth Pottery's folk art and traditional designs. Eldreth pieces with heart cutouts or designs are used as decorative crocks, planters, or candle holders, with the heart cutouts allowing light to emanate if used with a candle.

Yes! I would love to make a custom order for you! Please contact me and I'll be happy to get back to you with fabric options after a trip to my local fabric store or paint/stain options for signs. Please note: custom orders will take up to 4-6 weeks to complete and ship (I also work full time so I only have nights and weekends to craft).
